Community Events

Community events play an important role in bringing people together and strengthening local connections. From festivals and workshops to markets and sports activities, these gatherings create opportunities for residents to engage, share experiences, and celebrate their culture. They help build a sense of belonging, support local businesses and organizations, and encourage participation across all age groups. By attending or contributing to community events, individuals can form new relationships, learn new skills, and feel more connected to the place they live.

• Lampman Farmers Market Foam Party

  • When : Wednesday September 2, 2026

  • Where: Lampman School Parking Lot

  • What is it: The Lampman Farmers Market Foam Party is an evening of fun, laughter, and community connection where everyone is invited to jump, play, and get covered in foam! Bring the family, check out local vendors, enjoy the excitement, and make some memories together. While you’re here, help support local students by bringing along a donation for our School Supply Drive. It’s a fun-filled evening for the whole community—and yes, you’re probably going home a little soapy!

• Lampman Recreation Sportsman Dinner

  • When : Saturday October 3, 2026 Doors open at 4:00pm

  • Where: Saxon Family Community Complex – Curling Rink

  • What is it: Get ready for one of southeast Saskatchewan’s premier fundraising events! The Lampman Sportsman Dinner is an evening of great food, great stories, entertainment, and exciting auctions, all in support of improvements to the Lampman Community Complex and facilities in our community. Guests will enjoy cocktails and supper before hearing from special guest speakers Ryan Getzlaf, former Anaheim Ducks captain and Stanley Cup Champion, and Chris Getzlaf, two-time Grey Cup Champion and former Saskatchewan Roughrider. The evening will also feature an exciting live auction hosted by Mack Auction Company, a fantastic silent auction, and the opportunity to bid on incredible items and experiences. One of the evening’s biggest highlights will be the auction of the naming rights to the Lampman Community Complex for 2027–2031—a unique opportunity for a family, business, organization, or individual to leave their mark on our community. Whether you’re joining us for the sports stories, the food, the auction action, or simply a great night out with friends, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!
