Community Events

Community events play an important role in bringing people together and strengthening local connections. From festivals and workshops to markets and sports activities, these gatherings create opportunities for residents to engage, share experiences, and celebrate their culture. They help build a sense of belonging, support local businesses and organizations, and encourage participation across all age groups. By attending or contributing to community events, individuals can form new relationships, learn new skills, and feel more connected to the place they live.

• Community in Motion presented by the Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park Committee

  • When: Every Tuesday starting at 6:00PM

  • Where: Meet at the Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park (across from the Lampman                          Community Health Centre)

  • When: Every other Wednesday from May through August - First Official Market date will be THURSDAY May 28, 2026

  • Where: Royal Canadian Legion parking lot, Main St Lampman​

• Lampman Health Care Auxiliary presents From Our Soil to Your Soul Plant Sale

  • When: Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Where: Loughren’s Garage(125 Carson Bay)

  • What is it: Join the Lampman Health Care Auxiliary for From Our Soil to Your Soul Plant Sale! Browse and purchase a variety of plants including perennials, houseplants, succulents, bushes, seeds, and more. This community fundraiser offers something for every gardener, from beginners to seasoned green thumbs.​

Plant donations are welcome until May 20. Please contact Rhonda Loughren for donation information.

• Town Wide Garage Sale

  • When : Saturday May 23rd, 2026 from 10:00 - 3:00

  • Where: All Around Town (CLICK HERE FOR THE MAP)

  • What is it: Get ready to hunt for hidden treasures at our Town-Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, May 23rd! Spend the day exploring sales throughout the community, finding great deals, and connecting with neighbours.

  • Registration: Want to be part of the action? Call or text 306-471-8803 to have your sale added to the official map or to reserve a table at the curling rink. Don’t miss this fun, community-filled day of bargains and discoveries!

• Father's Day Golf Tournament presented by the Lions Club of Lampman

  • When : Saturday June 20, 2026

  • Where: Lampman Golf Course @ 1:00pm

  • What is it: Celebrate Father’s Day weekend in style at the Lampman Lions Club Golf Tournament on June 20, 2026! Grab your crew for a fun 9-hole best ball round with a 1 PM shotgun start at Lampman Golf Course, then kick back with cocktails at 4:30 followed by a mouthwatering brisket supper with all the trimmings at 5. Whether you’re swinging for bragging rights or just soaking up the good times, don’t miss your chance at the 50/50 draw and exciting raffle prizes! Pricing is flexible—$75 per person for golf and supper, $40 for supper only, or bring the whole family (2 adults and 2 kids 10 & under) for just $100.​​

• MLB Community Clean Up Challenge!

  • When : Wednesday June 24, 2026

  • Where: communities of Lampman, Midale, and Bienfait

  • What is it: The Midale vs Lampman vs Bienfait Community Clean-Up Challenge brings friendly competition and community pride to the forefront across all three towns. Residents are encouraged to take part by cleaning up their own yards and outdoor spaces, helping to create a cleaner, more welcoming environment for everyone as we head into the summer season. Participants can get involved by mowing lawns, raking and bagging yard debris, trimming overgrown areas, removing unwanted items or clutter, sweeping sidewalks, and tidying up around their properties. Even small efforts make a big impact when the whole community joins in. This is a great opportunity to get outside, work alongside family and neighbours, and show pride in your home community. Be sure to share your progress and encourage others to participate as Midale, Lampman, and Bienfait compete for ultimate bragging rights in this friendly clean-up challenge!
