Community Events

Community events play an important role in bringing people together and strengthening local connections. From festivals and workshops to markets and sports activities, these gatherings create opportunities for residents to engage, share experiences, and celebrate their culture. They help build a sense of belonging, support local businesses and organizations, and encourage participation across all age groups. • Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park Open Mic Night

  • When : Sunday July 26, 2026 from 3pm-5pm

  • Where: Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park

  • What is it: Join us for an afternoon of live music, local talent, and community spirit at the Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park Open Mic! Whether you're a seasoned performer, just starting out, or simply enjoy listening to great music, everyone is welcome. Bring your instrument, your voice, or your band and take the stage to share your talents. A microphone and speaker system will be provided, making it easy for anyone to participate. Not interested in performing? Come relax in the park, enjoy the music, visit with friends and neighbours, and support our local performers. Complimentary refreshments will be available for all attendees. We look forward to seeing residents of Lampman and the surrounding area for an afternoon of music, fun, and community.​​

  • When : Saturday, August 15, 2026

  • Where: Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park

  • What is it: Celebrate summer with the 5th Annual Music in the Park! This family-friendly community event features live music, a delicious BBQ, bingo, a treasure hunt, and plenty more fun for all ages. Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs for a great day in the park.
