From cherished memories and local legends to the everyday moments that shaped our community, Memory Lane is a digital storytelling project dedicated to preserving the history, voices, and experiences of the Town of Lampman.
Through the Memory KPRS (Memory Keepers) platform, residents and visitors alike can discover the people, places, and moments that make Lampman special—one story at a time.

Your first stop is already waiting for you!
Visit the Shirley Carson Therapeutic Park and scan the Memory Lane QR code to hear one of Lampman's stories where history comes to life.
This featured stop offers a glimpse into the Memory Lane experience and is just the beginning of a growing collection of stories throughout our community.
As more memories are shared, additional QR codes will appear at parks, landmarks, historic buildings, businesses, and other meaningful locations around Lampman, creating a self-guided historical walking tour that you can explore at your own pace.

Discover Lampman's Stories
Each Memory Lane poster marks a place where a story is waiting to be discovered. Keep an eye out—there are already Memory Lane posters displayed at several locations throughout Lampman, with many more to come. Simply look for a Memory Lane sign—like the examples shown here—scan the QR code with your smartphone, and step into Lampman's past.
By scanning QR codes throughout town or visiting the Memory KPRS website, you'll be able to:

Help Bring Lampman's Stories to Life
We are looking for volunteers who would like to lend their voices to the Memory Lane project.
These recordings allow residents and visitors to experience Lampman's history through the voices of the people who know and love our community best.
If you enjoy storytelling, reading aloud, or preserving local history, we'd love to have you involved.
No professional experience is required—just a clear voice and a passion for community storytelling.
To volunteer, please contact Kayla at the Town Office to arrange a day and time that works best for you.
Release & Consent Information
To ensure stories and materials are shared according to your wishes, contributors are asked to complete the appropriate Memory Lane Consent Form.
The consent form allows you to indicate whether you consent to:

Sharing written stories and memories

Publishing photographs and historical materials

Recording and sharing audio narration

Using your voice as part of the Memory Lane listening experience
Please complete and submit the appropriate Memory Lane Consent Form when providing stories, photographs, or participating in audio recordings.
Memory Lane is an ongoing community project, and we're just getting started.
As more stories, photographs, recordings, and memories are collected, new locations and QR codes will continue to be added throughout Lampman—creating an ever-growing collection of our community's history for everyone to enjoy.
