Protective & Emergency Services

The safety and well-being of residents is a top priority for the Town of Lampman. Through strong partnerships with local agencies and dedicated community volunteers, the Town supports essential fire protection, policing, and emergency services to ensure a timely response and effective assistance when it matters most.

 

Fire Protection Services

Fire protection for the Town of Lampman is provided by a dedicated volunteer fire department made up of trained local responders who attend fires, motor vehicle collisions, and other emergencies within the community and surrounding area. Members participate in regular training and public safety education and are equipped with modern firefighting tools and equipment to serve the community effectively.

Fire permits are required for open burning and can be obtained through the Town Office.

Police Services

Policing services for the Town of Lampman are provided by the RCMP, who work closely with the community to support public safety, crime prevention, and law enforcement. Officers collaborate with the Town and local residents to maintain a safe environment for everyone who lives in, works in, and visits Lampman.

Emergency Services & Preparedness

During natural disasters, severe weather events, or other emergencies, the Town of Lampman works with regional and provincial partners to coordinate an effective response and support residents as needed.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed during emergencies and to maintain a household emergency kit.

The Town also maintains an Emergency Measures Plan (EMP) to guide response efforts and help ensure the safety of the community during critical incidents.
